Prince Bandar Faisal of Saudi Arabia on flying course
May 09, 1968 - Son of king Faisal is Undergoing a Hunter Jet Conversion Course: Prince Bandar Faisal, the 25-year-old son of King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, is one of 15 R.A.F. students undergoing a hunter jet conversion course at R.A.F. Chivenor in North Deven. The Prince is spending is spending three months at the station before being posted to Celtishall where he will fly lightnings. One of his instructors said he was one of the best students pilots to visit the base and predicted a great future for him in the R.A.F. Trained at Crawell, Prince Bandar is one of several Arabs taking the course. He has spent three years in the RAF.
