Sep. 22, 1977 - Prince Charles Jets Off Ams Ark Royal: A Buccaneer strike aircraft carrying the Prince of Wales was launched from the aircraft carrier Ark Royal, 43, 060 tons. 100 miles of the Scottish coast yesterday. The Prince has spent several hours on board after flying from Yeovilton Royal Naval Air Station. The plane was piloted Lt-Cdr Tony Morton, commanding office of 809 Naval Air Squadron.
