Prince Muawia Yezidi, Hereditary Leader of the Yezidi tribe
1965 - MIR (Prince) Muawia Yezidi, a Hereditary leader of the Yezidi tribe from the area of Sinja near the Syrian Border. The Prince, pictured here with his bodyguard, lead some fifty families of this tribe in an epic marsh across the length of Iraqi Kurdistan to the safety of the Iranian border at Haj Omran pass. After seeing them across the Prince conferred briefly with KDP leaders before returning to his tribal area
