Feb. 02, 1972 - Prince Richard of Gloucester is to marry a Danish Girl: Prince Richard of Gloucester, 27 years old cousin to the Queen, today announced his engagement to Danish secretary Miss Birgitta Van Deurs, aged 25, the couple met in 1966 when he was at Cambridge and she at a Cambridge language school.
