Jan. 01, 1955 - Princess Alexandra Thrown - while out with the Hunt. Thrown over the head of Smokey'; H.R.H. Princess Alexandra daughter of the Duchess of Kent was thrown from her horse while out with the Pytchley Hunt yesterday. She was riding Smokey across a boggy field when he stopped suddenly and the Princess was thrown over his head. She was shaken and covered in mud but continued the hunt.
