Oct. 10, 1968 - Princess Anne starts course in French. Wears a way-out watch. Princess Anne today started a six-week crash course in french, at the Berlitz School of languages in Oxford Street, London. It is five days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with an hour break for lunch. The princess, who left Benenden School, Kent, at the end of the summer term, passed her O level in french in July 1966.
