Mar. 03, 1971 - Princess Anne Is Disappointed When Horse Is Withdrawn During The Crookham Horse Trials: For the third day running Princess Anne was again competing in the Crookham Horse Trials at Aldershot. But she was somewhat dissappointed when her mount Doublet, owned by H.M. The Queen, was withdrawn by the trainer while the Princess was in a leading position. Photo Shows Princess Anne riding Doublet takes a jump on the steeplechase course while competing in the Speed and Endurance Test today
