Princess Anne on Doublet in horse event at Burghley
Nov. 11, 1971 - Princess Anne Voted Sportswoman Of The Year. Princess Anne has been voted Sportswoman of the Year by the Sportswriters Association. The Princess is the reigning individual European champion for the equestrian three-day event. She won the title at the Burghley International Horse Trials in September.
