Princess Anne with equestrian team, Munich Olympics

Sep. 02, 1972 - September 2nd 1972. Smiles of Delight from Princess Anne as Britain's Equestrian team win two gold medals in the Olympics. Britain broke her duck at last in the Olympic games in Munich yesterday when the Equestrian three day event team won two gold medals. First as a group of four riders and secondly by Richard Meade who finished at the top of the of the individual list on his horse Laurieston'. Photo shows Princess Anne is all smiles as she claps her hands in delight after Richard Meade, Mark Phillips, Mary Gordon-Watson and Bridget Parker had won the equestrian event which gave Britain two gold medals
