Feb. 13, 1971 - February 13th-1971 Princess Anne visits Kenya's Famous Treetops Hotel where her mother became Queen in 1952 Princess Anne who is on a two week visit to Kenya paid a visit to Kenya's famous Treetops Hotel, the animal observation post, built on stilts. It was a sentimental journey for the Princess because it was at Treetops that her mother Queen Elizabeth acceded to the throne 19 years ago.
