Jun. 06, 1958 - The Duke of Edinburgh makes a 350 mile Dash to Play Polo : The Duke of Edinburgh yesterday made a 350-mile air, sea and land dash to play Polo. He was on a tour of Holy Island, Northumberland with the Queen when he heard that the Windsor Park Polo team was in trouble for the final against Bratwurst. The Duke slipped away - and the Queen continued her tour. The Duke's team won by seven goals to two and a half.
