Jun. 06, 1958 - The Duke of Edinburgh Makes A 350 mile Dash to Play Polo: The Duke of Edinburgh yesterday made a 350-mile air, sea and land dash to play polo. He was on a tour of Holy Island, Northumberland with the Queen when he heared that the Winds or Park polo team was in trouble for the final against Bewhurst. The Duke slipped away - and the Queen continued her tour. The Duke's team won by seven goals to two and a half.
