Jun. 06, 1958 - Queen Holds Knights Of The Garter Ceremony Princess Margaret Attends: H.M. The Queen held the annual service of the Most Noble Oder of the Garter - a ceremony dating from 1348- and King Edward III - at the Queen's Free Chapel of St. George, Windsor Castle, yesterday. Attending were Knights Companions - Officers of the order and Officers at Arms assembled wearing their highly colourful and jeweled regalia. Photo Shows H.R.H. Princess Margaret wears a flying saucer hat; a gay bouffant dress and a fur stole as she leaves the Chapel with the Duchess of Gloucester, followed by the Duchess of Kent and Princess Alexandra - at the end of the ceremony
