Princess Margaret, godmother at christening, Berkshire

Feb. 02, 1948 - PRINCESS MARGARET IS GODMOTHER. Princess Margaret was godmother to the daughter of Major and Mrs. John Lycett Wills, at the christening which took place today at All Saints Church, Binfield, Berkshire. Mrs. Wills, formerly the Hon Jean Constance Elphinstone, is the second daughter of the Queen's sister, Lady Elphinstone. Major Wills, related to the Wills baronetcy and the Dulverton barony, is a member of the tobacco family, whose members have left more than 40 millions is the last 35 years. The baby daughter was christened Marilyn Emma Margaret.
