Princess Margaret attended the premiere of the film The Alamo - at the Astoria, Charing Cross Road, London, last evening - held in aid of the Invalid Children's Aid Association. She was presented with a splendid silver mounted saddle - valued at £1, 000 - by John Wayne, star of the film.
