Mar. 03, 1976 - Princess Margaret's Marriage to Lord Snowdon is Over Official. The 15 year marriage of Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon is over. This was announced this afternoon in an official statement from the couple's home, Kensington Palace. The Statement said; Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret will carry out her public functions unaccompanied by Lord Snowdon. There are no plans for divorce proceedings.
