Princess Margaret with St John's Ambulance cadets

Jul. 18, 1955 - Princess Margaret enrols St. John Cadets. Ceremony at Southport Princess Margaret as Commandant-in-Chief of the St. John's Ambulance and Nursing Cadets, conducted a special ceremony at which 60 ambulance and nursing cadets were enrolled in the Cambridge Hall at the Town Hall, Southport. During the ceremony the Princess recited the cadet promise to be loyal to my sovereign, true to my honour and faithful to the order which was repeated by the cadets.
