Princess Margaret visits girl guides camp, East Grinstead

Jun. 06, 1967 - Princess Margaret Visits The Girl Guides Princess Margaret visited about 370 Girl Guides drawn from the Southern counties at their camp site, Blackland Farm near East Grinstead, Sussex. She arrived by helicopter and then was taken on a tour of the camp. After having lunch with the guides, cooked over a camp fire, she visited the swimming pool, used by the campers. The Princess ended the visit by having a sing-song around the camp fire.
