1973 - A little Princess in her Palace.: The people of Japan are watching a cute little princess grow up. She is princess Nori the youngest child and only daughter of the Crown Prince and Princess of Japan, who celebrated her 4th birthday this April, and has just enrolled in a three-year course at a private kindergarten. Like any other 4-year-old girl she plays in the park of Togu palace, the Tokyo residence of her parents, and is often joined by her two brothers prince Hiro and prince Aya. Her mother, the Crown princess shows her the art of origami - a Japanese method of folding coloured paper into shapes of birds and animals, fish and flowers, or helps her in furnishing her house with minature household articles, and installing the family of minute bambis in the palace garden when the weather is fine. For this work Princess Nori wore a magnificent kimono, embroidered with chrysanthemums, storks and bamboo, all significant symbols of Japan, and looked quite regal as she sat calmly on a small inlaid chair at the palace - looking like a little Japanese doll
