Prison in Straubing, Bavaria, records music

Feb. 02, 1970 - In The Prison Of Straubing (Lower Bavaria) there is made music at present. 80 prisoners, partly lifers, made disc recording for two days, the result of which was a long-play with folksongs in German, English, Italian and Russian. The prison pedagogue Rudolf Rohrl (48) has trained his music pupils there for years and created an excellent choir. The record producer, too, holds that choir is very good. The amount the prisoners get for this, will be distributed and spent for books, fruit, and newspapers.
