Mar. 03, 1959 - Modern prison: The first prison of the Federal Republic of Germany which has be developed in quite new aspects, will be built in Stuttgart-Stammheim/Germany: The new prison will consist of four main buildings: 8-stories main building for men (above), building with cells for women (front, right) and in between the domestic building and left the administrative building. In this complex there will live more than 900 people. The inner yard will be used for the prison activities. The outer yard, covered in by a wall 5 metres high, the prisoners will be able to walk about
