Jul. 07, 1961 - Tough prisoners moved to Special prison. The first transfer of troublemakers from local prisons to special security prisons took place today. About 80 men were moved from Wandsworth to Parkhurst Prison, Isle of Wight. The men, between 18 and 33 years, are all long-term, violent of escape list prisoners.
