Many well known personalities attended the Institution of Chemical Engineers Banquet at the London Hilton Hotel - Park Lane - last evening. The toast was proposed by Lord Bowden, Minister of State - Dept. of Education and Science. Other speakers included Professor Stuart W. Churchill, Vice President American Institute of Chemical Engineers - and Professor P.V. Danckwerts, G.C. M.B.E. M.A. S.M. M.I. Chem. E. President Institution of Chemical Engineers and head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Cambridge. OPS: Professor P.V. Danckwerts speaks at the Banquet last evening
