Jun. 06, 1953 - Professor Reuter again in Berlin. The Lord Mayor of West Berlin, Professor Ernst Reuter who during the period of demonstrations and streetlights represented Germany in his capacity as president of the German delegation of the Staedtetag returned to Berlin, in an effort to convince himself about what had happened in the meantime. Photo shows Professor Reuter, accompanied by Herr Stumm, police President, and Herr Bach, a Berlin senator, at the Potsdamerplatz where the heaviest demonstrations had taken place
