Professor Giulio Carlo Argan elected Mayor of Rome
Aug. 08, 1976 - Prof. Giulio Carlo Argan, 67, has been elected Mayor of Rome. In the election of last June he was on the list of the communist Party as independent. He is the first Communist Mayor in Rome. He is also an art historian and critic, teaching art history at the University of Rome
