Professor Hannes Alfven
Oct 27, 1970; Stockholm, Sweden; The 1970 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded today to a Swede teaching at the University of California's San Diego campus, Professor HANNES ALFVEN, and the Frenchman, Louis Neel of Greenoble University.
