Jul. 07, 1957 - Sir Laurence and Lady Olivier Lead Protest Marchers Against The DEMOLITION OF ST. JAMES'S THEATRE: Sir Laurence and Lady Olivier (Vivien Leigh) headed a march organised by Equity, the British Actors Association, as a protest against the demolition of St. James's Theatre. Many actors and actresses took part in the march from the Theatre to the courtyard of St. Martin-in-Fields, where a meeting was held. Photo shows Lady Olivier (Vivien Leigh) addresses the meeting in the courtyard of St. Martin-in-the Fields today. Seated behind her is her husband Sir Laurence Olivier
