Jul. 07, 1957 - VIVIEN LEIGH AND HUSBAND SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER LEAD PROTEST MARCH AGAINST DEMOLITION OF ST. JAMES THEATRE: Sir Laurence and Lady Olivier headed a protest march, organised by the British Actors Equity Association, as a protest against the demolition of the famous old St. James's Theatre. Many actors and actresses took part in the march from the theatre to St Martin-in-the-Fields courtyard, where a meeting was held.
