Protest against NPD meeting in Karlsruhe, Germany
Jun. 06, 1966 - NPD meeting in Karlsruhe: From June 17th till June 19th, 1966 the Second Federal Party Meeting of the NPD (National Democratic Party of Germany) takes place in Karlsruhe in spite of extensive protest actions of SPD (Social Democratic Party of Germany), the trade unions and the municipal government of Karlshruhe. In opposition to 4000 NPD members about 20000 members of the SPD and trade unions arrived in Karlsruhe on June 17th in order to make demonstrations against the NPD party meeting. Photo shows demonstrators with placards with slogans against the NPD, including "Think of Dachau", "Think of Auschwitz"
