Queen of the Cows, Valais, Switzerland
Jan. 10 Fighting for the crown Cow-fights for the Crown are a traditional spring event in Western Switzerland Canton of Valais. The cows which fight are of the famous Herene breed which are renowned for their pugnacity. Successful cows fetch a higher price when they are sold.
