She is also wearing the sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, the necklace which was given her as a wedding present by the Nizam of Hyderabad, and a circlet of diamonds and pearls. The circlet which is arranged in a pattern of cross pattee and the shamrock, rose and thistle, has been worn by queens of England since Queen Victoria
