Queen Elizabeth II arrives at Nepalese Embassy

Oct. 19, 1960 - Cameramen Boycott The Queen: Photographers downed camera and refused to take pictures of the Royal Family arriving at the Nepalese Embassy last night for a dinner given by the King and Queen of Nepal, after an official had told the photographers, who lined the steps of the Embassy, to move on'. He said they were blocking the doorway. They explained that if they moved they would be unable to get their pictures - but the official was insistent. So the photographers put down their cameras. Photo shows Cameras down - the photographers watch the arrival of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh arrive for last night's dinner
