Jun. 02, 1967 - The Queen opens the new Aldeburgh festival concert hall at Snape, Suffolk: The Queen accompanied by Prince Philip today opened the new Aldeburgh Festival Concert Hall at Snape, Suffolk. They afterwards attended the inaugural concert in the new concert hall and opera house which was converted from an old brewery at a cost of150, 000.
