After watching the racing at Flemington Racecourse, the Royal Couple afterwards visited the Kooyong Tennis Court, where they watched part of the final day's play in the third Lawn tennis Test between Australia and South Africa during which the home team suffered a surprise defeat when they were beaten by the South Africans by five matches to three.
