Oct. 10, 1957 - Queen Elizabeth II of England Visits The United Nations: Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip, visited the United Nations today. During her visit the Queen addressed the General Assembly and afterwards mat with delegates. Here, Her Majsty, Queen Elizabeth, in escorted up to Ceremonial staircase by Sir Leslie Munro (New Zealand), President of the General Assembly. Directly behind the Queen is Pince Philip (left) and secretary General Dag Haskjold. At the head of the party (at right) is Mr. Johan De Noue, chief of the UN Protocol and Liaison Section
