Jul. 07, 1965 - The Queen Camps Out over looking the Blue Nile at Gondar Ethiopia: Last friday the Queen who is on a state visit to Ehiopia, camped out 23, miles north of Gondar, the old Ethiopian capital, set up overlooking the Blue Mile, 32000ft below. The Queen's tent had all mod, cons, and luxury with hot water deep carpets and electric candelabra. There were 50, tents in the Royal campand they guarded by troops with machine Guns, and a thornbush fence all the way round to keep out stray packs of foxes and Baboons. Photo shows The Queen, Emperor Hails Selassie and the Duke seen on their arrival at the camp sits. The Queen's tent is the large one on the right
