Jul. 14, 1958 - Revolt In Iraq. King Faisal Deposed: Bagdad Radio today that the Government had been overthrown. The Radio said that General Nuri Al said, to Pro-Western Premier, and Crown Prince Abdul Illah, had been killed and their bodies burned. both Cairo and Damascus radios, quoting Free Iraki Radios - said the revolution was ledby General Abdul Kerim al Kassem.
