: Queen Elizabeth II at Marlborough House, London

Queen Elizabeth II at Marlborough House, London

Mar. 03, 1962 - A peek over the Royal shoulder: Lord John Hope, the Minister of Works, takes a closer look at the murals lining the famous Ramillies staircase at Marborough House - right over the shoulder of H.M. The Queen. The Queen visited Marlborough House today to formally hand it over to the Commonwealth Relations Office. The House, in which Queen Mary once occupied a suite of rooms, has been converted at a cost of 30, 000 into a new Commonwealth Centre
