May 05, 1965 - The Queen in Munich: In the morning of the 21st May Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and Prince Philip arrived in Munich on their 10-day- visit to West Germany. Thousands of people, waving and shouting with joy, welcomed the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh as they passed through the streets of Munich. Photo shows Queen Elizabeth, Minister president Goppel, Dr. Hundhammer and Prince Philip on the balcony in the chancery.
