Oct. 10, 1970 - The Queen opens £15-million hospital.: The Queen yesterday opened the £150 million Northwick Park Hospital and Clinical Research Centre at Harrow, Middlesex. It is expected that the whole project, which will be opened in three stages, will be working by 1974. The hospital is equipped with the latest in technological equipment, from electronic thermometers to computer storage for patients records. photo shows Sister M.
