Queen Elizabeth II at Palace Theatre, London
Dec. 06, 1956 - The Queen Sees A French Play At London's Palace Theatre: The Queen, with a party of twenty titled friends and diplomats, went to London's Palace Theatre last night to see Jean-Louis Barrault-Madeleine Renaud company's French play Occupe-Toi-D'Amelie ('Keep an eye on Amelie'). For three hours she enjoyed herself enormously, laughing at the jokes, puns, and the saucy situations. Photo shows the Queen shaking hands with members of the company after the show last night
