Mar. 03, 1978 - The Queen Attends Premiere of Close Encounters of the Third Kind Last night the Queen attended the film premiere at the new highly acclaimed Close Encounters of the Third Kind'. 5 year old Cary Guffey from Georgia who in the film is kidnapped by aliens from space, presented the Queen with a bouquet. Richard Dreyfuss who is the star of the film was also present to meet the Queen.
