Queen Elizabeth II at St Clement Danes rededication

Oct. 10, 1958 - Rededication of St. Clement Danes Church.: The service of rededication of St. Clement Danes Church, Strand, the R.A.F. Memorial Church, was held today, and was attended by the Queen, Prince Philip and other members of the Royal Family. The church, which was built by Sir Christopher Wren in 2681, was badly damaged by bombing in 1941, and restoration work has cost nearly 190, 000. Photo shows H.M. the Queen being greeted on her arrival for the service today
