Jun. 06, 1981 - Shooting Incident At The Trooping Ceremony: A man was arrested in the Mall when he fired six rounds to blanks from a replica gun at the Queen as she was on her way to Horse Guards Parade for the Trooping ceremony. The Queen was shaken by unharmed and carried on with the ceremony. Photo shows The Queen takes the salute during the march past of her Walsh Guards at Buckingham Palace
