May 05, 1958 - Queen visits Artillery R.Q.: H.M. The Queen today visited a display given by the Royal Artillery at Woolwich of equipment now in service and the new guided weapons both surface-to-surface and surface-to-air. The display, which opens to the general public after the Queen's inspection, shows the various functions of the R.A. including the techniques being developed in the use of new weapons such as the Corporal and the Thunderbird.
