May 05, 1967 - The Queen visits the Zoo: H.M. the Queen who is the Patron of the Zoological Society of London, visited the London Zoo in Regent's Park today. During the visit, Her Majesty, who was accompanied by Queen Elizabeth, opened the new Charles Clere Pavilion for Mammals. The Pavilion was built at a cost of 200, 000, given by Mr. Clere. Photo shows the Queen with Lord Snowdon as her guide, is interested in features of the new aviary, designed by Lord Snowdon. Princess Margaret is on right
