May 05, 1953 - Revival of 13th. Century fair at Cheam. the Queen tries out the stocks.. Evan the stocks were to be seen at the 13th. Century Fair which was opened at the Park Road, Cheam, Surrey, this morning, by Sir Sidney Marshall M.F. for Sutton and Cheam, followed by the crowning of 27 year old Mrs.Eunice Pitcher of Cheam.
