Sep. 18, 1969 - September 18th 1969 Opening of Dutch Parliament The traditional opening of the Dutch Parliament by Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, took place on Tuesday (Sept 16) in the Knight's Hall at The Hague. Smoke bombs were thrown at the coach as the Queen drove to the ceremony. Photo Shows: Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard, arriving for the opening ceremony, followed by Prince Claus. On right is Princess Margrethe and her husband Mr. P. Van Vollenhoven
