Aug. 13, 1960 - The Airlift For Passengers From The Strike-Bound Queen Mary Gets Under Way Passengers from the liner Queen Mary - strike-bound at Southampton owing to the seamen's strike- began pouring into London Airport for the big airlift to the United States today. Passengers who did not want to fly were given bookings in foreign liners not hit by the strike.
