Queen Mary's lying-in-state, four Royal Dukes in procession

Mar. 03, 1953 - Four Dukes Walk In Funeral Procession. London: Queen Mary's coffin was taken in solemn procession from the Queen's Chapel, Marlborough House to Westminster Hall to-day for the lying-in-state which begins this afternoon. The coffin was borne on a gun carriage drawn by six black horses, with outriders of the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. Immediately behind the gun carriage walked the four Royal Duke - the Duke of Gloucester, the Duke of Windsor and the 17-year-old Duke of Kent.
